Installation: The stringing pulley is fixed on the neck of insulator, the stringing pulley on the side of pulling direction. After pulling and stringing of conductor the armour rod part of conductor joint is completed and moved straight above the insulator. After that the locking pin of the stringing pulley is removed and by swinging down the pulley the conductor is laid in top groove of the insulator. When a performed tie is used the tie pad is placed on that part of the conductor that comes to the top groove and the conductor is laid in the insulated groove. The stringing pulley is removed and joint is completed. The type ST168.2 is furnished with upper sheave which keeps pulling wire and conductor on the pulley also on uneven ground.
